Naturalisation

Post by Clbel » Thu Feb 04, 2016 6:26 pm

Hi,

I'm planning to apply to passed the Life in the UK test in November 2014 but I haven't been able to apply to naturalise as British Citizen until now. On the information I read, says they advice you to apply closer to the date you passed your test. Would this be a problem?

Another question, once you have applied. Do you need to be in the UK while you wait for the application to be accepted?

Thank you very much!

Clbel

1) LITUK certificate does not expire

2) Yes - at least long enough to enrol biometrics.

Apply using NCS so you can keep documents required for travel.
Have trusted friend in UK to monitor mail for any follow up questions from HO.
