Hi Aarti211,
There are loads of posts with similar questions. The best thing for you is to search the board for flr documents and you will get your answer.
You can also find my posts on flr document requirement.

I need to know the following:
1) I do not have utility bill.Is there anything else which I can submit in place of it?My bank statements have my address on it.Can I submit that as address proof?
2)Do I need a covering letter for FLR application? If yes,can you give me a format?
3)Are all the documents listed above to be submitted in original?
4)The above list does not include passport. That is also to be submitted right?

flr queries

Post by merahsmp » Mon Nov 19, 2007 3:01 pm

Hi,

I am on a work permit and have received the HSMP approval. I would like to apply for FLR(HSMP). Can anyone suggest how much time does it take to process FLR?

Do they contact current employer for verification?

Regards,
Mera HSMP

Hiya,

You don't need to submit a utility bill... This is never asked for in the FLR application either. You need to send:

1. Your Passport.
2. Covering Letter
3. FLR (HSMP) Application form with your HSMP reference letter mentioned in it.
4. Your current HO reference number, if any.
5. The fee of £ 350 in an accepted tender type (Card / Postal Order, etc.)
6. Two photographs (PP) with your name on the back.
7. A minimum of 3 months Bank Statements to prove that you have sufficient funds to take care of yourself (and family, if applicable).
8. Your Marriage Certificate (if applicable and if applying for spouse)
9. Childrens' Full DOB Certificate showing both parents names (if applicable and if applying for children)

Please note, this is just plain vanilla case. You need to provide evidence of any additional support you may be receiving - like friends supporting you, etc.

Hope this helps. Cheers.
