which one is mypermanent resident card number

Post by Orsi13 » Sat May 07, 2016 4:20 pm

I need some help how to understand my PR card as it doesn't show any info. I can see 3 different numbers on it, but don't know which one is my card number?
I need it to fill out one form. Tried to search for it, but didn't find any useful info yet.
Please advise me! Tanks!

Assuming you mean PR card though the EU route??? Or do you have a ILR BRP card?

Not all of us or many of us know what these look like. So not sure how you expect us to answer your query.

I'd vote for: the number at the top right on front of card.

Based on explanatory diagrams here:

Thank you for your reply! My card is in a little blue passport, just like on page 15 according your link. In some posts someone saying the card number is at the bottom of the page (in the sample it is 16140756), so you suggest the card number on the sample is the 0624120?
:?

Well I was looking at the BRP (credit card type) but yes, I'd still guess the relevant number is at the top-right.

So yes, in the example on pg 15: 0624120
(The number at the bottom of that example may be a passport number??)

It is a guess, so I could well be wrong; suggest wait for someone who's got one to comment too.
Or simply put all the numbers you can find in the 'additional info' section of the form.

I have the PR vignette in the little blue passport. It's the UKF number in the top right.
