A bit confuse

Post by corasson » Mon May 09, 2016 9:13 am

I just want to clarify something that confuses me a bit plz.
I'm on leave to remain as a parent of a British child. I have recourse to public so I have child benefit and tax credits for my child.
I'm due to have another baby with my bf and he like myself as leave to remain. My question is will my newborn baby will be in titled to child benefit and tax credits as his sibling ?

Thanks

It is not the child that claims. It is the parent. If you have recourse to public funds, then it should be fine.
