The dependent should only based on my income( Sponsor) or I can also show some of the bills are paid by my husband( British) in the same household. I pay groceries , water tax and TV licence, Council tax is debited from Joint account in the name of Myself and Husband. Recently (last few months) I have transferred utility and mortgages to my account, telephone and mobile bills are debited from my husbands account.
The guidance suggests its all about the EEA principal

Hi noajthan

Thanks for the link in section 4 it has mentioned

if applying as dependent family members (dependent children 21 and over and dependent relatives) they are dependent on the EEA national or the EEA national’s spouse or civil partner;

In that case EEA spouse income will be take in to account?

That would be my understanding.

Dear Gurus,

Further Update, as I said I am going to apply for EEA FP for MIL in abroad, she submitted her passport and bio metric in VFS but VFS staffs asked her the supporting documents if she got, she replied as per guidelines from their website, sponsors (me) going to send them directly to Sheffield (I have attached the pdf file as it directs). She filled online application and booked the appointment on 17/01/2017, on that date it was clearly says for EEA/Settlement applicants should send supporting docs to UKVI directly by return envelope. Today I also sent docs as per guidance once MIL submitted her bio metric.I also confirmed with UK Visas and Immigration service by email about the procedure, they also confirmed me to send docs to Sheffield office. All of a sudden VFS taken the EEA category from that procedure, only settlement visas only needs to send support documents to Sheffield. Now I am worried what will happen because the poor service from VFS. Can any one suggest how can solve.

Just thought make an update

MY MIL got her EEA family permit in abroad and today we have received a letter from Tribunal that her appeal was allowed on the basis of amble evidences provided. We dont know what will be the next step as her residence permit will allowed, HO will send the card? or do we need to make an application along with this letter?
