I have been using very informative forum over the last few years and it helped me a lot. The journey is not over and still looking for some answers and I hope I will get them here.
I got ILR in Feb-2015 based on 5-year Tier-2 ICT route, now I am applying for BC. I am confuse on few questions in form AN, any help will be appreciated.
I tried to search the forum a lot before posting here to avoid duplicates. I have added my understanding of these, please correct me If I am wrong anywhere.
1.1: Previous HO reference number: Number at the top right corner of BRP card?
1.22: Life in UK test number:
1.22: I met the KoL and Life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013 – I’ve selected this, hope this is correct too.
1.23: Details of your English Test: Since I have met the requirement after 28th Oct 2013 and before 12th Nov 2015; hence I don’t need to answer this question?
1.49: Address of Tax-Office or Tax-Office reference: Is this UTR OR do I have to give address of my employer OR E&Y who files tax for myself?
This is a tricky one, since I am still on my home country pay roll. I get paid in form of allowance for my work in UK along with home country salary (everything goes into my home country bank account). My company is using services of E&Y to pay taxes on all the resources working on this model. Tax is not deducted as PAYE instead E&Y gross up the tax on my earnings and pay directly to HMRC against my UTR along with NI. E&Y uses form SA100 to submit my tax returns. Please let me know if this explanation is not good enough to answer my question.
