Date of birth change

Hi my wife came from Pakistan in 2006 with hand written pasport,her dat of birth was x-x-1975,than when she applied for her passport renewal to Pakistan they issued her machine readable passport with different date of birth i.e y-y-1975.She got several extansion on this new passport and on y-y-1975 date of birth till now.Now she is planning to apply for ILR on premium service,My question is what this change will effect her case though it was changed by pakistan embasy it self.Also do she need to mention it in coverin letter or Home office will check it self in their record.
Please reply me with detail and some useful advice for this issue.thanks

Does she have a birth certificate which represents her latest date of birth?
