TIER 2 General Dependent Visa - Right to work

Hi All,

My wife who is on Tier 2 Partner VISA has been sent home by the employer - ASDA today, until they clarify her right to work in UK.

Reason stated - Need clarifications on Right To Work with Tier 2 Partner VISA

Strangely, she has been working for the same organisation for 19 months. During the discussion she was told that they have do clarify few things following the rule change taken effect in 2015.

I am not able to find tier 2 dependent visa work restrictions. The closest article I have found is below:

Please advise if there is a limitation to Tier 2 partner VISA to work in the UK?
