IT Outage and same day refund - 03 May 2016

IT Outage and same day refund - 03 May 2016

As there was IT systems outage on 3rd May 2016 at Croydon and most of ILR applicants were able to do bio-metrics, but were not given decision on the same day. We were given letters which said we will be refunded same days premium service fee (£500 per application). Has anybody received this refund from home office?

I have not yet received and was planning to call home office, but am not able to get through. If anybody has any phone number where I can call, please let me know.

hi ,
i am in same boat as you.
i apply in 4th April 2016 at croydon but IT systems outage not given decision on the same day.We were given letters which said we will be refunded same days premium service fee (£400 per application).
I have not yet received .almost more than six week i try to call home office, but am not able to get through. also i send two time email on this address pscappointmentrefunds@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk but no response received from them .so if you know how to contact them let me know please

Interesting! Appreciate that they have now decided to refund the premium fee if a decision was not made on the same day. This IT issue is not new in Croydon PEO/PSC. This happened to me and everyone else that applied on the same day as me in year 2012, and there was no refund or promise of refunds as such.

To see that they are doing this now is a welcome change!

I'm in the same boat as you. My appointment was on 4th of May. I haven't been refunded yet. I sent an email to PSCAppointmentRefunds@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. I will update you if I hear from them. Please do the same if you could.

I had the appointment on the 3rd May and not refunded yet. Was given a letter that the £500 fees per person will be refunded. I am not worried as once they have given a letter it will happen in due course. Just sharing that the return is pending for me. Not sure if anyone got it back yet.
