Spouse Visa from Pakistan

Post by ikhan7 » Tue May 24, 2016 4:33 pm

Hi,
I am planning for my wife visa and in process of collecting all relevant documents. My wife can only travel to UK after Oct 2016 she is doing her house job(internship) which will be finished end of Oct 2016. I just found out from few other forum threads and people that now days the applications are processed very quickly and once the visa is granted the applicant has to travel to UK with in 30 days.
Is this 30 days travel rule is correct ? I am asking because my plan was to apply for visa as soon as I finish collecting all documents. If this 30 days travel rule is correct then obviously I wont be able to apply as my wife wont be able to travel to UK before Oct 2016.

Please help.
Thanks

A 30 day vignette will be issued and your wife will have to travel to the UK within this timeframe. She will then be required to collect her BRP from a designated Post Office within 10 days of arrival.
When your wife submits her visa application she can request to have the start date deferred for up to 3 months.
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
