28 days after tier 2 expired for ILR

Post by grace101 » Fri May 27, 2016 4:12 pm

Hello Everyone,

Please I need guidance. I have been legal in the UK until when I clocked 9 years and my tier 2 visa expired and I couldn't get another sponsor on time. So, I applied for FLR(FP) within 15 days that my visa expired. My application has been refused and I have been given right of appeal. when I lodged in the appeal today I was told there is a waiting time of 8 months. And I will be 10 years in November 2016.

Have I lost the right to file for 10 years lawful residence because of applying 15 days after my tier 2 visa expired.I need guidance because am thinking I will be 10 years before hearing date for my appeal.
