Shareholder tax returns impacting ILR

Post by Devil81 » Tue May 31, 2016 4:53 pm

Hi

Do directors of a Ltd company have to submit self-assessments/tax returns to HMRC for their shareholders for the dividends withdrawn?

Does it impact the ILR of a person (director of a Ltd company in this case) as the shareholder earnings are anyways not considered as part of the earnings for ILR application?

Although a tax query, it is still related to ILR applications.

Thanks

All directors have to fill in SA302 and dividends do count as income.

Thanks Wanderer

In my original post, I'm referring to a company secretary earning dividends and a not a director of Ltd company. I agree that all directors have to fill in SA302.

Thanks
