Visitor Visa for In-laws

Hi,

I am trying to invite my in laws to visit us in the UK for my wife's graduation ceremony.
I have sent them the documents required from my side. But because we have recently applied for my wife's PBS extension, I cannot send her documents.
Is there any requirement to include her documents (passport/brp/relationship proof) in support of my in laws visitor visa application ? As I am the one inviting them, would my documents be enough (payslips/bank statements/employment reference letter/invitation letter) ?
