Applying for ILR - Various Queries (main + Dep)

Post by Shah100 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 4:05 pm

Dear friends,
I need your guidance on English Test for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) Visa on following new rules on 6th April 2015.
My wife has passed English Test (Grade 5, B1) with Trinity College London in October 2014. She need to apply for ILR visa in next month July 2016.
According to new rules those who have passed exam before 6th April 2015 is only valid until November 2015.
My specific question is we took Exam at Trinity College London (Manchester Centre) in October 2014, which is still in home office's approved college list:
Could you please someone guide me on above matter whether we need to re-take exam or one which she already passed in October 2014 can still be used.
Thank you for your help.

Applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) visa with a Po

Post by Shah100 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 4:42 pm

Dear friends,
I need an urgent guidance on applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) visa with a Police Caution.
It was the saddest day of my life, where I was newly married and I had arguments with wife and I put a gentle slap on her face, but she took this matter to police. Police arrested me and issued me a Caution in July 2014. I accepted Caution as It was my fault as I should not / must not slap to anybody regardless of what was the matter of arguments. I came back home within couple of hours, we both regretting for this incident. we have no problem at all afterward and we have a child born recently and all going well. Thanks God.
Now, it nearly two years after the caution has been issued to me, Could you please advise me when I should apply for my ILR visa next ? My understanding this should consider as simple caution as I was out of police station within 2 hours and no court involve. I believe I should apply for ILR visa after 24 months after the caution issued, please correct me if I am wrong.
I am currently on Tier -1, General visa category, I am due to finish my five years of qualifying period soon.
Thank you very much for your help.
