adding a Sponsor Note to amend SOC code/Job Type for Tier2G?

Hello,

Can you please help me with CoS amending practice? My employer has created and assignment a CoS for me?

In job type he has put 2124- Electronics engineer instead of 2122-Mechanical engineer. When I notified that he added a sponsor note to change job type from 2124-electronics engineer to 2122-mechanical engineer?

Is that a significant change or that is acceptable for home office? Please help me regarding this? I am very worried regarding my application.

I personally think SOC code change is a significant change and cannot be done using just the sponsor notes. It is like changing a role altogether. What role was mentioned in the RLMT? I'll not be surprised that HO asks to redo the RLMT for this.

Seniors may comment if they have a different view.

Thank you very much your reply. The job title is correct and matches exactly with RLMT. However while selecting the Job Type they selected 2124-Electronics Engineer instead of 2122-Mechanical engineer.

I now got letter from my employer saying that they made mistake in putting 2124-Electronics engineer as soc code and they amended it through sponsor note. They believe that may work for my application.

Can you please let me know if you have come across such case?

Can anyone please let me know if RMLT was done with exact same job title (rest of the details are correct) and only SOC code is wrong is that acceptable to home office?
