The OP is of Indian nationality and needs evidence of right to enter the UK (BRP) just to check in for a flight and board from India back to the UK. I take vinny's point that my passport does not need a visa to visit UK so airline would have no issue at all boarding child.
in your case especially, you have the visa granted just not the BRP due to HO issues. so if you really have to go I would (other option is to give POA for someone to pick up BRP and send to you)
