Naturalisation uk seniors please help

Post by Ash934 » Thu Jun 16, 2016 1:49 am

I got ilr in Feb 2015 but in Feb 2016 my wife she called police due to an argument and ended up due to no interpreter allegations of historical rape and common assault against me.
I was arrested and then after 18 hours released on conditional pre-charge police bail grant not to contact my wife directly / indirectly and I can not go to my home address. We have 2 little kids 5&3 years old boys.
On my return to police bail date I was been told that my bail has already been cancelled and my wife she did withdraw her sallegations against me as she said were misinterpreted and I can go home they handed me bail cancellation notice with NFA from the police as they couldn't find evidence against me as well. Please note I was arrested but never charged, never taken to court and never convicted and was never given any verbal / written caution either simple or conditional.
Please I want your help can I apply for naturalisation if yes will it be refused as I booked Ncs appointment but they refused and advised me not to apply and wait for 3 years from the date of incident as it will be spent.

I was surprised how it is possible I never committed any crime these were allegation against me, yes was arrested released on bail and then the police concluded the matter as NFA, I was never charged, taken to court or convicted. Please please reply. Thank you.

It may not be an issue. Its a little unclear if there is any issue in past history or not (you may not wish to post that here).

You could request a SAR from the police:
https://www.acro.police.uk/subject_access.aspx

And see HO guidance on good character, here:
http://www.immigrationboards.com/britis ... 05532.html
- see section 2.4 about overseas and also section 3.3 about cautions etc.

Thank you for your reply. Please I do not have any previous criminal history or anything. However I did apply for SAR and it showed that my dna and fingerprints have been destroyed and it shows when I was arrested and bailed with conditions mentioned and does show the matter was disposed as NFA by the police force. Am I eligible to apply for naturalisation or do i need to wait for 3 years if I have to wait is there any guarantee that after 3 years they will approve my application and will ignore that incident.

Please I am very stressed.

Thank you

Can anyone please reply who knows better about it.
Secondly, I had parking tickets issued to me around 3-4 in the last 12 months and 1 ticket issued to me on driving on the bus lane and another ticket issued while I parked didn't notice the little board notice that for loading / unloading only when I went inside Kfc to buy meal for my son. The letter was sent to me with picture taken by the local area camera. However, all the tickets were paid on time. Do I need to mention about these working tickets and bus lane driving ticket on the application form. Please help!!!! Thank you all much appreciated.
