To all members who contribute to this topic/thread, the following are the guidance to adhere to so that we do not end up with a timeline thread that runs into so many pages like the other one did and which has become a discussion thread, rather than an easily readable timeline thread, defeating the purpose of a TIMELINE thread:

1. This topic is for timelines and timeline updates ONLY.

2. ANY discussions, chit chat, question such as 'Any news for applications in XYZ Month / 6 months, no reply ...' ect, will be deleted and the user issued with a warning.

3. Most members who contribute to this thread will already have other recent queries or threads on the forum, i.e. 'Family Permit - Help Please' etc. If you need to ask a member something specific about their application, click on their name, search for their most recent NON timeline post and ask the question there. You are of course free to use the PM function for this too if you choose and if you have access to PM.

4. There will be zero tolerance of any abuse of the timeline thread.

5. No posting of personal contact details, please see Forum Terms & Conditions (click), particularly point 5.

6. The Format for posting your timeline is below.

7. This topic/thread will be monitored daily.
Please only post in the timeline format.

I have not yet received a letter inviting me to do biometrics, which I find strange as it has been over a month since they received my application. Perhaps this is connected to the UKVCAS centres being closed/phased opening in June.
Update:

Posted application: 06/05/2020
Application delivered: 07/05/2020
Payment taken: 15/05/2020
Acknowledgement email: 20/05/2020
Biometrics letter received: 22/06/2020 (dated 18/06/2020)
Biometrics enrolled: 22/06/2020
Passport returned: 23/06/2020 (dated 19/06/2020)
CoA without work received: 11/07/2020 (dated 08/07/2020)
Decision letter received: -------
Residence card received: -------

Note that I emailed my MP after waiting over a month to receive a biometric letter, as well as after waiting almost 3 weeks after enrolling biometrics for my CoA.

I was hoping for a CoA with work as I am fully employed currently, but it seems that these are only offered to FM applicants (married to their partner) whereas I am unmarried and submitted an EFM.

Hi There,

We are nervously awaiting the outcome of the EEA(EFM) unmarried partner. We are applying at the same time as his EEA(QP) certificate.

I am Australian, and my partner is Dutch. We have been together 3 years, living together 2.5.

Application completed online: 14 March
Received by UKVI: As above
Biometrics: Originally booked 17 March, moved to 18 July after COVID shutdown
COA: 23 June 2020
BRC received: 18 September 2020
Wait is over, it is arriving via TNT today. Having to have it rerouted as I am out of country, but the TNT lady seemed very easy to deal with.

It's been a long journey (6.5 months since receiving the CoA). For anyone who is thinking of calling home office to check status of application, you can try calling home office, just don't get your hope up that you'll get a timeline.
My experience is I called home office after 6 months' wait. On the phone they did not tell me the status of my application, instead they said I will get an update of the status in 5 working days. Then 5 working days later, I got an email saying my application is not finalised and they can not say when it will be completed ...
But surprisingly one week later, I got an email saying "Your biometric card is on the way" after 6 and a half months' wait.
So the lesson is don't be frustrated if you are getting the same response from home office.
At last, good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Not expecting to get a decision until August/September, but fingers crossed either way!
SUCCESS! Finally received my Residence Card Today. Total time of 6 Months and 4 Days.

Contacted my Local MP: 03/09/2020
First Reply from MP: 04/09/2020
2nd Reply from MP : 10/09/2020 - MP stating she is speaking with Home Office and recognized that its been 6 months and I should've received a decision.
3rd Reply from MP: 17/09/2020- Informed that my application is with a Caseworker and should receive a decision shortly.

For those past the 4-5month period i highly recommend contacting your local MP as they have direct communication with the Home Office and can escalate.

There is no doubt in my mind that the only reason i got a response back was because my MP escalated the application to the Home Office.

Lastly, thank you everyone for their Updates. I want to encourage those with existing applications to update whenever they can. I can say its been an immense help to me as I've been refreshing this page daily, so its good to see people getting approvals as it gave me hope when i was waiting for my decision.

Good luck everyone!
