IHS Payment Confusion

Post by pranam_c_s » Sat Jun 18, 2016 6:12 am

Hello Madam, Sir,

Greetings.

I started applying for Tier 2 General visa using the visa4uk portal for myself and my dependents. There is a step that requires me to pay IHS.

I clicked on "Pay for IHS" . Interestingly, there are no dependents listed on my summary screen . I have no choice but to move to the next page and then payment page. Is this expected ?

Looks to me that the primary applicant (General Migrant, up to 5 years) and dependents (General Partner, up to 5 years and General Child, up to 5 years) in the visa4uk portal are not linked. Should I just pay and get an IHS reference number for each applicant ?

Hoping you will be able to guide me.

Thanks and Regards
Pranam

Your dependants need to apply and pay the IHSs separately.

Can you please let me know the outcome of this? I am having the same debacle where it is saying I have no dependents. I have applied and paid for both of my children separately, yet I would assume they would still appear on my IHS as dependents?

if you have paid for them separately, just write their IHS number in their application form. Why do u think they have to be linked with yours.
