If you search the forum you will see the high number of refusals for Tier 1-G ILR applicants who have been refused due to tax amendment/discrepancies.
Are you saying that you don't know whether you have any overdue tax payments? The UKVI Case Worker will carry out the same cross-checks with HMRC on 10 year long residence applications. Refusals are common under deception, due to tax amendments only being addressed close to applying for ILR.
If you mean that you failed to submit self-assessment tax returns for the past 5 years, then you're in really deep water with both the UKVI and HMRC!
