Eligible for ILR or not

Post by Facebook » Fri Jun 24, 2016 11:08 pm

Dear all,

Me and my one daughter came to UK (April 2006) on my husband student visa dependent. Now my husband got ILR and me,my eldest daughter are his dependent, but another small child was born here in UK and who had already got a British Passport. Also,I have pass LIUK(Life in UK Test) and got B1 in speaking from Trinity College recently.

My question is ,
Can I and my eldest daughter who is 13 years apply ILR on basis of 10 years route, because as I already said we came to UK on April 2006 on my husband student visa dependent? But,I have a dependent visa ( expire on 2018) from my husband (ILR).Also in finance term, how much salary do we need to earn.Because recently we both husband and wife works as a part time only but looking forward for full time. Also, from my husband side, we get a Child Benefit,Housing Benefit,Child Tax Credit. Will this benefit make some problem in my future ILR visa application or not?

Thank you so much and have a good day all.

Yes, if you both meet ALL the requirements you can each apply on separate forms for ILR based on long residence.
Also in finance term, how much salary do we need to earn.Because recently we both husband and wife works as a part time only but looking forward for full time.
There is no income requirement for ILR based on long residence.

Child benefit MUST be in your husbands name ONLY. Child tax credits MUST be claimined in JOINT names of you and your husband. If so, no effect on ILR.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for late come back to you. Recently we both husband and wife are working part time, but looking forward for full time.

May I know how much money do we both need to earn to apply for my wife and big son please?

Suggest decide which username you want to keep, the other one will be banned. It is against the forum T&Cs to have multiple usernames.
