Mods and learned members, please help. I don't want to get visitor visa application rejected for 'wrong type of application form submitted'.
I hold ILR, my wife continues to hold T1-G Dependent.
I and my spouse will jointly sponsor my in-laws to visit us. Jointly because savings split in both accounts to show enough money for their 4-months visit.
Gov.uk site says its just one 'standard visitor visa' unlike last year where a 'tourist visa' for Visa holder families and 'family visa' for ILR holder family was required.
Can you please confirm that in our case (ILR + T1-G Dep) joint sponsorship, it will be new "Standard visitor visa" category?
Documents we are planning from our side are -
1. My & spouse 3-month orig payslips
2. My & spouse 3-months orig saving statements
3. my & spouse joint sponsorship letter
4. my & spouse joint invitation letter addressed to Home office.
Misc. - We will show strong family ties, properties, saving, employment etc of in-laws to native country.
Any insight from forum will be really helpful please.
