Chased my solicitor in July
HO sent Biometric dated 24/7/17 via solicitor & requested more documents,HO wrote that I failed to enroll my Biometric b4 so the 2nd one was given 10days instead of 15days

Online checker was last updated since 25/5/17
Contacted my solicitor to send chase up letter to HO on the 20/10/17
Also contacted my MP 20/10/17
Since Friday online update got no dates.
Just over 8 months.

Update:

Finally, supporting documents received today with a letter of 10 yr parent route leave to remain but resets my clock from zero onward ( previous 3 yrs 2 months legal stay now invalid ). In all I still give thanks to God and pray that we all get our desired response shortly. Amen

However, my online application status is still showing ''awaiting a decision'' at this moment.
