Visa expired during the 28-day period

Post by L0101270 » Wed Jun 29, 2016 4:55 pm

Hello,

could I ask a special case?

For example,
on 29/07/2016, I will continuously stay in UK for 10 years (or 5 years).
Thus, I could submit a application for the PR on 02/07/2016 (in advance of 28 days).
However, my current visa will expire on 12/07/2016, not covering the rest period till 29/07/2016.

Whether this appilcation will be rejected ?
Is any official link aboutt it from UKBA ? or any keyword that I could search ?

Thanks a lot

No, it should not be an issue. Many people have applied within the 28 day period and their visas expire shortly before reaching the full residence requirement.
