UK NARIC Red or Blue route for English language qualificatio

Post by llc332 » Sat Jul 02, 2016 11:52 pm

Hello Everyone,

I had obtained an ILR last year July through Tier-2 ICT. I had a degree taught in English from India, so had to submit ELA and SOC documents from UK NARIC to prove my English language requirement.

I have gone through the AN Guide where it states the below as one of the requirement in addition to the original degree certificate

''An Academic Qualification Level statement ( AQUALS ) and English Language Proficiency statement (ELPS) from UK NARIC (these will show us that UK NARIC are content that your qualification is equivalent to a UK degree and was taught in English).''

When i check the UK NARIC website, i could see tht they have introduced Blue and Red route to get the qualifications compared or evidence of english language proficiency starting from 6th April. Also, I come across this link ( http://www.santaferelo.com/news-and-blo ... plications) where it says that the earlier ELA & SOC documents issued by UK NARIC are still acceptable by the Home office until further notice.

could you please suggest if i can still use the ELA & SOC documents issued by UK NARIC last year for my Naturalisation applications to be applied this July or do i need to apply AQUALS and ELPS from UK NARIC?

Please help

Thanks.
