adequate maintenance 2016 please help

Hi all, sorry if this question has been asked already, but im looking for up-to-date information on this as i know things constantly change.

Im confused, i thought once you earn over the 18,600 there shouldn't be any issue with a spouse visa approval, but after reading some of there other threads. i feel like i might be in trouble?

My annual earnings amount to 27.000 approx as i work irregular shift patterns but gross monthly, works out at £2341

rent is £950 pm plus 120 council tax and utilities around £60 pm = 1130

my net pay is 1800 approx can fluctuate up to from 1750 to 2000 depending on ovetime and shift patterns

i feel as though for one child who is british by decent and my wife this wouldn't be enough ? taking into account that i would be elgible for child benefit and child tax credits once they are here??

sorry ive just realised this is wrong, the above only applys if you are on benefits, is that correct?

You need to meet the financial requirement of £18,600pa.

Adequate maintenance is only for certain visa categories (i.e. pre July 2012 applicants) and those of disability/PIP/carers benefits.
