ILR

Post by FELIX 1975 » Wed Jul 06, 2016 4:38 pm

I have to renew my Visa in December - FLR. My Visa was granted in June 2014. I am on a Spouse Visa. I applied in 2009 and got an ILR Visa but we returned in 2010. Will have still have to go through the 5 year rule?

I have waded through various PDF's, but I cannot find an answer. Help much appreciated!

If you applied for a new spouse settlement visa in 2014 from outside of the UK, you are now on a 5 year route to ILR. You will have to apply for a 2.5 year extension on form FLR(M).
NHS surcharge of £500 is also payable in addition to the visa fee.
