ILR via 10 years route requirements

Post by Jon Pasha » Sun Jul 17, 2016 8:31 pm

Hi,

My 10 years will be complete by the end of this year. below is my 10 year visa history

Jan-07 - jun-11 ... Student Visa
Jul-11 - Jun-13 ... PSW
Jul-13 - Jul-16 ... Tier 2 General
Jul-16 - present and valid until 2019 ... tier 2 general with the same company as before

Can you please advise what are the requirements for filing the application via the 10 year route apart from the life in the uk tests certificate and 6 months bank statements?

Have you read the SET(LR) form and guidance notes?

It does not ask for bank statements and explains clearly what you are required to send.

On what date did you ENTER the UK originally?

Are your total absences in the 10 years 540 days or less?

Yes absolutely ... I have been outside uk for a total of 164 days.

I have read the form and it appears that these are the documents i would need:

1. P60 for all 10 years
2. LIUK test pass certificate
3. UK bachelors degree for the english requirement
4. Passports
5. Current BRP
someone in the forum had stated about the DBS certificate as well but i am not sure whether it is required.

Is there anything else i would need to provide considering that i have lived in a house where i was paying all the bills to the landlord including the council tax so nothing is in my name or it was all inclusive in the rent.

You should only provide what the form asks for. Anything else will not be looked at. The ONLY time you need to submit extra documents is if you are missing one of your passports covering a period of the 10 years.
