Is premium service centre booking website down?

Hi All

I'm trying to book appointment at PSC but it seems website is down since days!

If I follow above link, I end up at page showing below message:

Visit Visa Appointment Booking will go down at 11:00 British Summer Time (BST)

We are currently experiencing problems with our visit visa appointment booking service.
You will be able to continue and edit your application however, you with not be able to book, rearrange or cancel an appointment. We are working to resolve these issues.

The service should be back online at around 09:40 British Summer Time (BST).

Is this really down or I'm following wrong process?

It says visit visa bookings. Clearly you are not applying for a visit visa.

Have you clicked all the way through the steps or stop after seeing the message?

I stopped at pay your IHS surcharge - as it takes me to another website (that's fine). But I'm not sure even if I pay the surcharge will I get the appointment as I cant check the availability, so was confused.

Is this how system works - you pay surcharge and then come back and see if any appointment is available?

I don't know, I finished my journey in 2012 so don't have log in details or experience of the system now with IHS.

You have to pay IHS online anyway, there is no other way to pay. PSC appointments are not a problem anymore, so availability should be fine.

Thanks CR001 - Indeed error was to be ignored. So, it's fill in all the details (Ignore error), Pay NHS surcharge, get to PSC selection page for check availability (only to see that some centres like Liverpool give you 42 day view and some like Sheffield gives only 3 weeks)

btw, I'm trying to sort out Wife's FLR (M) extension.

Have been watching the Liverpool bookings for the last couple of weeks. We would like to book in early August and nothing has been available so far. I saw that message about it being down Saturday through to Monday. If you try and book for Liverpool at the moment, there was only one booking available, which was for Thu 21 Jul at 13:00. Other than that no other slots available. Looking at the bookings over the last few weeks they only seem to put the booking online for the next week or so. Must admit I think its pretty lousy. Probably the government use a subcontractor for the online service, and it doesnt seem to be running very well at the moment. Unless they dont have the staff to do the interviews or they only want to plan one week ahead?
