Tier 2 ILR Query

Post by silverchloride » Wed Jul 27, 2016 11:31 am

Hi friends,

First of all thanks to all the members and admins for running such an amazing resource. Great work.

I am applying for ILR on the Tier 2 route next month and have some questions.

My salary has been increased to be more than 35k from this month (July), I will get my payslip in the next few days. Previous salary was 34.5k so not a huge difference. The question is, I am thinking of applying on the 23rd of August (which is a few days before my next payslip comes in), because I am travelling later in September. Do you think this is a risk and I should wait for the August payslip. Or will just 1 payslip (July) payslip do? It is just a matter of a few days as I need to travel but at the same time, want to be on the safe side with any unforeseen problems...

I have remained with the same employer throughout... Do I need to get HMRC letter? Or just 1 payslip and 1 month bank statement.

Many thanks again!

1.) Do you think this is a risk and I should wait for the August payslip.
You dont need to as long as your July payslip shows that you are earning £35,000 or over.

2.) The guidance asks for only 1 payslip and 1 month Bank statement. It is worth taking 3 to 6 months payslips and bank statements just in case the caseworker has any questions. (If PEO appointment)
