Is that the month she applied or the month she came to the UK.Rajeev123 wrote:september 2012
Yes, you can apply for ILR if you meet the requirements. No she will NOT have to change her visa status.1.Can I then go ahead with my ILR application in Feb 2017. Will my wife have to change her visa status at this stage.
Yes, she can continue on her PBS dep visa till she meets the requirement for ILR.2.Can she continue to be a PBS tier 2 dependent while I change my status from Tier 2 general to ILR on 5 year route.

1. Yes, you can apply for your ILR in Feb 2017. She will not have to change her visa status at this point.
2. Yes, she can continue to be a PBS dependent, but will have to extend her visa as a PBS dependent in March 2017 to complete her 5 year eligibility period in Sep 2017.
She DOES NOT have to make any extension application or change of visa application. She can apply for ILR when she qualifies in September 2017 on form Set(O).Rajeev123 wrote:O_Relly wrote:Read Q13 in the FAQ which is a sticky in the ILR forum. Link below:

Hi Thanks. But the above information is slightly confusing. Your first comment syas she will not have to change her Visa status and your next comment says she will have to extend. Her current Tier 2 dependent visa expires in March 2018, Same as mine- However I will get eligible in Feb 2017 for ILR as my last tier 2 visa's were 3+3 years.
I missed the update in the later post,My wife is currently on tier 2 dependent until March 2017 as me.
Yes no extension required, she can apply in Sep 2017.I will complete my five year eligibility in Feb 2017.
My wife will complete 5 years as PBS tier 2 dependent in September 2017.
