Post by HarryJones » Sun Aug 07, 2016 1:06 am

please is there any advantage of paying by postal Order/Cheque over Debit card for postal ILR application?
Please can some share the advantages and disadvantages of all these and in terms of processing times.
Many thanks

No advantage in processing time.
£250 is the maximum amount for postal orders.
UKVI staff have been known to key an incorrect card number, resulting in a rejected payment.
If paying by card the issuing bank should be notified to ensure the payment isn't blocked as a security measure.

Good response from Casa. Thanks

That means no mistake can come up using cheque for payment.

Not as long as you have cleared funds in your bank account when the cheque is presented for payment.
