urgent questio, PEO appointment tomorrow

Post by talkhome » Sun Aug 07, 2016 9:42 pm

We meet partial financial requirement by savings account.

Money came in the saving account on 08th February 2016 and our appointment is tomorrow 08th August 2016.

I just read it says on the form at least 6 months PRIOR to the date of application.

Technically 6 months finish 07th August 2016 midnight so they should consider us but can i request gurus to please answer please.

Yes, technically it falls within the permitted timescale. You will be expected to provide details on the source of the savings.
Are you clear on the required level of savings to make up the shortfall of income?

I edited my post and then lost connection. Are the savings over £16,000?

Required savings = ((18600-Current Provable Salary)*2.5)+16,000

According to the OPs previous posts they are awaiting MNI registration for their child, which could mean the Case Worker will want to see income of £22,400. I'm concerned that the savings are less than £16,000 which will mean they will be disregarded.

Appears to be from wages...hence my doubt that they amount to £16,000 :?

Dear All,

Thanks for the posts. You guys are awesome seriously. I really mean it.

We are simply claiming £2500 from applicant account in which she receive her wages. So we have disregarded what she received in her wages for the last 6 months from the date of application and going to claim only balance held 6 months ago in that account and since that balance we have not withdrawn money from the account.

so i guess it would be ok.

NO! It won't be OK!
You reply came in very late while most members would have been asleep (myself included). Only savings of £16,000 or over will be considered to make up any shortfall and if you are intending to submit an application without income for the last 6 months and are relying on the £2,500 held in your bank account the application will be refused.
It's a shame that you left this until the night before your PSC appointment.

I know. It's a shame they didn't stay around last night when help was still available. :(

I am so sorry I went to sleep as we needed to go early for the appointment.

Good thing is visa was granted.

Thank you everyone.

yes I know we were told that savings over £16000 would be counted so we had £16000 in 1 savings account and rest we were claiming from an account where the applicant wages is coming. The money from wages were there for 6 months exactly.

Finally we got the visa but I am impressed by the effort gurus made.

Thank you immigrationboard.com thank you guru and yes you guys are far better than the advice I got from my solicitor.

Good planning. Misquoting Thomas Edison, success in immigration applications is 1% luck and 99% planning.
