My Business Partner got ILR & I have to go for extension

Hi,

My extension due end of this year and my business partner got ILR (on the basis on 10yr), so I have to go for extension alone.
My query is that it is necessary that my business partner will stay with me or he can leave business(resign).
We are currently both Director of the company.
If he leave then I am still able to claim my £50,000 investment, as investment transfer from joint account throughout 3yr period.

To apply for extension as a member of a team, its either you apply together or apply alone.

In your case you could apply alone using the documents you have. You could however include a covering note that you're a member of a team but applying alone, as your team member had gotten ILR. And you team member could still be a director of the business. He doesn't need to resign.

You're a team. I think yes And thats the more reason he should not resign....

Even as a part of the team, your application is separate. The money invested by you both can be used by you to claim points.
