About Tier2 visa continues Period. Urgent, Please Help!

Dear All,

I have been in the UK since Last year November on Tier2 general work visa. However, my employment was terminated on 31 March 2016. Up until now I have not received the curtailment letter from UKVI. I found a new employer during this period and considering many other issues ,including RMLT, the start date on my new cos will be 1st September. So I will have 5 months of employment gap by then. In this case, am I still eligible to apply for ILR?

With your new Tier 2 sponsorship which you expect to get around sept 2016, you should qualitfy sometime in 2021. If the laws remain the same as they are now, you should be eligible for it at the end of your 5 years' time with the second sponsorship.
