Which PEO Centre and What date to book for ILR variation

Dear Forum members, Experts and Moderators,

I am going to make a booking for Premium service to vary my application from FLR(fp) to ILR ( 10 years route)

Could you please suggest which centre should I make the booking at.

Most of the forum members have been to Sheffield according to my research on this forum. Just wondering if there's any advantage of booking at Sheffield ( I mean does Home office store passports at that centre so there could be a possibility of getting ILR granted same day?)

I had applied for Tier 1 entrepreneur extension which was refused, with AR refused subsequently. Then I filed FLR fp application within 28 days. Both Tier 1 ent and FLR fp applications go to Durham Office as per my information.

Also, I entered uk on 15th October 2006. Would it be okay If I book for 17th September (Saturday). That is the first day of 28 days grace period.

Please let me know if there's any other important point that I need to be aware of.

While waiting for your suggestions, I have another question. I have sent my Bsc original Degree with FLR fp application. At the premium center, should I just tell them that my transcript is with Home office already, or should I request to get my file transferred for my appointment?

As your passport and other documents are with the HO, your application won't be decided on the day unless you are able to persuade the Case Worker currently handling your FLR(FP) application to forward them to the PSC in time for your appointment.

Why was your Tier 1 Entrepreneur application refused?

I made FLR(fp) application on 24th July and still haven't received any acknowledgement. I hope I get some acknowledgement at least so that I can mention the reference number of that application in my cover letter to VARY the application at PEO.

Tier 1 ent was refused because I invested money into a company where I wasn't a director.
