ilr eligiblity and days not in the country

Post by nobleanuiype » Sat Aug 20, 2016 6:34 pm

hi , i came to uk in tier 2 general visa as a band 5 nurse in july 2012 and we are planning to apply ilr on june 2017
i am pregnant now , as i am planning to do my delivery india ,i wish to stay in india for 137 days from (4/10/2016 to 21/2/2017) . i heard that i can stay 180 days not just 90 days in india in every year as a new rule ... still eligible for ilr.. and some of my friends and solicitors advised there is a risk involved for staying more than 90 days

could you please confirm this, how the homeoffice consider the holiday period or i should avoid the stay for so long period

i have already been india for 25 days in 2013
and 78 days continuously in 2015 for maternity

thanks
regards

OP last visited over 5 years ago and only posted 5 times!

You can see the application and followup all failed.
Whether or not OP got ILR is immaterial and would have little or no bearing to you.

Its going to be as simple as meeting current requirements and keeping within current rules.
