Visitor Visa documents for girlfriend (student)

I want to sponsor visitor visa for my Colombian girlfriend. (She is 18+)
I am aware of all the documents required from my end.
However as a sponsorer, does my girlfriend have to show her bank statements as well?
She is studying and she does not have any assets nor bank account as she stays with her parents
What documents from her side would ensure that her application is not rejected.
Do I have to submit any additional undertaking?

Does she need to open a bank account and subsequent bank statements. Also, a letter from her university that she will come back to pursue her education?
Any suggestions on documents to convince UKVI that she will go back to her home country is welcome.
