Tier 2 to ILR - eligible start date for ILR application

Hello friends,

i am currently working in UK under Tier 2 General visa.
I had applied for Tier 2 general visa on 27th Jan 2012 but the date of issue on my Biometric card states 5th April 2012.
So will i be eligible to apply for ILR in March 2017 or can i apply for ILR in Jan 2017 ?
Please advise.

Might fall short of ILR by few months

Hi Friends,

I am currently working in UK under Tier 2 General visa.
I am due for ILR application by March 2017.
I might lose my job in December 2016 so i will fall short of ILR application by 3 months.
Is there a way out for this situation?
Please advise.
