Hi,
I am a Croatian national. Last year I came to UK for my internship. Since I was working as part of my internship, I received a Certificate of Sponsorship number form British Council and I applied for purple certificate. My Accession Worker Registration Certificate (work permit) was approved in April 2015. In 12 months from April 2015 to April 2016 I worked for 7 months in total and I have 7 payslips (5 consecutive months work, then few months break, then one month work, then few months break, then another month of work). My final payslip is for April 2016.
On my work permit it says: "After 12 months legal and continuous employment in the UK, a Croatian national will cease to be subject to restrictions on access on labor market and will no longer be required to hold an Accession Worker Registration Certificate in order to take employment in the UK."
My question is, is it enough to be on my employer's payroll for 12 consecutive months as I was, or do I instead need to have payslips for each of 12 consecutive months in order not to have any more restrictions for work?
Thank you.
