ILR Dependant Status

Post by SWANIK » Fri Aug 26, 2016 3:35 pm

Hi there, I just want to check if anyone is in the similar situation as me? I am eligible for ILR later this year from Tier 2 (5 year route) however my wife isn't as she has only completed 2 years - Which form do we need to use to extend her stay (don't want to use the FLR(M) as it will reset the 5 year clock)? Also, does she need to apply at the same time as me or later on since her dependant visa doesn't expire till May 2017? Please advise.

If you are applying for ILR based on a PBS route, your spouse can continue on her PBS Dependent visa and renew it when it expires.

Thanks, Simon. Also, please advise which form will she need to complete to extend her visa so tat she doesn't lose the 2 years gained as PBS dependant towards the 5 year ILR rule?

There isn't a paper form. It is online for tier 2 dependents from the .government site.
