Tier 2 Visa extension_get passport back

To extend my Tier 2 Visa I have my possport posted (standard service) a week ago. Does anyone know how many weeks does it take to have my passport returned. I need to travel recently. Thank you!

passport comes back when the application is processed together with rest of the docs. Average time nowadays is 8 weeks but can take longer.

If you had applied in person through the PSC for the premium fee, assuming the application was valid it would have been processed on the same day,

If your travel is urgent/essential you can request an upgrade to Priority for an additional fee, although not all requests are approved.
