Post by ffjr414 » Fri Oct 09, 2015 4:59 am

Hi all,
I am going to apply ILR(10yrs base) next year(2016) January. but i am confused about my wife and baby. i got visa until (2016) july. my wife came in uk (2010) as my dependent when i was in PSW visa. and my baby was born in uk 2012. now my question is:-

1. what category my wife needs to apply ?
2. and can my daughter apply for naturalization after my ILR?

Thanks in advance.

FLR m documents

Post by ffjr414 » Sun Sep 04, 2016 1:54 am

Dear Member,
I need your help regarding my wife application FLR(M). here is the scenario :- I am going to apply for ILR(10yrs route) next week in day service. so after getting my ILR i would like to apply for my wife by post using FLR (M) form. She came in this country in 2011 as my dependent. In that time i was holding in PSW visa. later on I applied for in entrepreneur visa and she was my dependent. and our current entrepreneur visa is valid until 2017. Now my question is:-

1. does she need to apply as soon as possible after getting my ILR or she can wait until her current visa expire?

2. As a dependent visa she needs to provide 6 (3 under my name and 3 under her name) different documents . but she has got only two documents under her name ,one bank account and one credit card and one joint account . i could manage 4 or 5 documents under my name. so is it sufficient for her ?

3. last question is about maintenance , she is working two part time job and earning around 17k. and i'm self employed . i am earning around 9k. she got letter from her employer that she is working their but they didn't mention about her salary. so is it ok or they need to mention her salary? and i can provide SA302 form for my self assessment. Do i need a letter from account that i am earning 9k in a year ?

Thanks in advance.

1. She may wait, if not travelling. However, her 5-year qualifying period for SET(M) will start from the date the initial FLR(M) grant.

2. Provide as much as you can.

3. Yes.

For 3, it's yes for mixed. You should read Appendix FM-SE for details.
