Hi all,
I was recently denied a Tier 4 Student Visa to the United Kingdom on the grounds of not being "conducive to the public good" (Immigration rule 320(19)). This was based off of an unproven and pending court case in the UK itself (and one which is being vigorously challenged) for a violation of the Public Order Act. That said, I have never been convicted of any crime, nor has my passport been altered in any way (for instance there is no black x over a stamp or any physical sign of the refusal).
Since I am now no longer studying the next few months, I am planning to use the money I have saved up to go travelling in the EU (obviously excluding the UK) beginning with Spain. I was wondering if this visa refusal by the UK could have any impact on my ability to enter Spain/the EU generally.
As a point of note, I am an American citizen and thus am normally exempt from visa requirements for visiting the EU.
Thanks.
