struggling to paying SET(O) fee

Hello All
Due to illness and not working at the moment a friend is struggling to pay for his ILR fee
on the form SET(O) you have a choice to choose for one payment method
My friend asking if it will be possible for him to pay
part of the fee on his credit card £1000
and the rest £875 on his debit card
the deadline for his application is next Tuesday and he does not know what to do
any help or suggestions are welcome

Cant he transfer money from his credit card to debt card. Bank usually charge a fee for this.
