Hi, first of all thanks for answering my previous queries.
I had a query regarding total number of unpaid leave one can have in a financial year.
I am due for my ILR next year March (2017). I have not broken any continuity rule in last five years.
This year I already had travelled outside UK (15-April-2016) to (25-April-2016), took 5 working days leave and couple of sick leaves.
this was total 9 calendar days outside UK.
Due to my father's health reasons, I have to travel for another 3 weeks time, leaving UK on 27-Oct-2016 and returning back on 21-Nov-2016, total 24 calendar days.
In total it is 16 working days leave, my employer may give me 10 days leave and I am planning to put 6 days as 'leave without pay'.
would this create any problem, in any sense would it break my continuity period?
As per rule, I understand, the continuity is broken if one stays 28 days continuously on unpaid leave.
Is my understanding right?
Any guidance in this regard would be a great help?
Thanks
Rockey
