ILR and Claim

Dear All,
I have got a query regarding my ILR. I am on work permit.
I have a negligence claim against me indirectly.
A client is pursuing an insurance claim against my employer.
The negligence was due to me but the service contract is between my employer and the client will pursue my employer.

I will, however, be mentioned in the claim papers. Will this have any impact on my character requirement for ILR ?

Any help would be much appreciated.
