Return Envelope in Application pack

Good day.
In sending the application pack to the HO, are we required to include a return envelope for HO to be able to send the documents back?

No, it is not mandatory. Many do send 'special delivery' envelopes though.

Best to send a return envelop as UKVI normally send it via 2nd class signed for delivery which cannot be tracked till signed, and UKVI have a reputation sending documents to wrong address so better be safe than worrying(my friend's documents were sent to wrong flat number and it took him a month to track everything and its a pain - not T1 entrep though).
