This is not a timeline thread. And if it continues along lines of "any update? any update?" it will be closed.

Instead of agonising and general wringing of hands what is needed is worthwhile, useful, hard facts and tips. For example:
  • I contacted HO this way...
I contacted my MP like this...
Solvit helped me in this way ...
& etc etc.

Here's a start...
1) For members' timelines see timeline thread.

2) If over 6 months, try making a request to expedite application as per latest guidance - no guarantees though:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... s_v4.0.pdf
- ref page 37

3) For complaints about HO inability to meet EU-mandated 6 months processing time for RCs - try your MP or Solvit.

Called HO and they called me back to let me know that a decision has not yet been made on my case. Very stressful :? :?

Update: I have received the RC after 6 and half months

I called HO for a second time and they updated me that "a package" was sent. I read on this forum that some people still received refusal letter even with all their documents back. I decided to call DX and see if they had a package for me by providing my post code and surname and they confirmed the date for delivery.

Good news.

So the takeaway is no point agonising or fretting over these applications.
HO is clearly incapable of meeting mandated timelines (although it manages to do so sometimes).

They come when they come.
They are rarely lost.

I'm in the same situation

Eea application applied: 27 june 2016
Biometric letter received: 8 September 2016 ( in august I was requested to resend the signature page with my signature as I had forgotten to sign it)

NO COA no nothing after biometrics.
