English language requirements for settlement

Post by nikhpm » Mon Oct 10, 2016 1:46 pm

Hi,

I’m applying for ILR Settlement through the Tier 1 General visa route for myself and two dependents, I got three Questions.

1. As per the SET (O) Form section 4 Knowledge of English Language I need to provide a certificate from UK NARIC confirming my Master Degree was taught in English. I have done my masters from India and had already provided the Medium of Instruction certificate from Indian as part of my Tier 1 Application and extension earlier. Question Do I still need to provide this letter from UK NARIC.
2. My wife who has done a Bachelor Degree from India should she also get the UK NARIC certificate to confirm the medium of instruction was English.
3. Section 12A Set (O) form last point is about the spouse or civil partner to provide the evidence of cohabitations since the last granted leave. What kind of documentary evidence should we provide to support cohabitations.
I am planning to apply in on third week of Oct-16, hence would appreciate if someone can reply Asap.

Thanks,
